Summer is the perfect timing to fish salmon in this 30mile river. It's closer than Alaska, so.. don't make any excuse.
Next to the Cheyenne River, this lake is a salmon paradise (most people fish during winter time). The area is very nice, you must have a good camera -or phone- because you'll fall in love with the natural scenery.
From October to April you will have sucess fishing in this river. But plan ahead of time, hotels are always busy because fishing and outdoors are very popular there.
